On pitch 2, Dadford were looking to claw themselves up from the bottom of the table whilst Papa were eyeing the chance to draw level with 2nd in the table. The first half opened as an end to end affair with both sides creating good chances, and both keepers making several good stops. As the half wore on Papas influence started to grow and they ended the half with a well deserved 8 - 4 lead.

Dadford had been much improved in recent weeks, narrowly losing their last two games, but an explosive second half from Papa simply blew them away. Nigel Dale has been hugely impressive in his recent performances since joining Dadford permanently, but even his usual heroics were not enough to stop the impressively in form combination of Roe and Daniels for Papa as they found the net 6 times each to help Papa secure their third win in a row, and continue their impressive climb up the table. For Dadford, they remain adrift at the bottom, but a few games in hand over Dadalona will be enough motivation for Michael Kelleher’s men to get some results over the next few games.

In the Golden Boot; Kevin Thurston’s (58 in 7) 5 goals extend his healthy lead over 2nd placed Mark Wiseman (29 in 9) to 29 goals, whilst Paul Jones (23 in 8) sneaks into 3rd ahead of Adam Chilvers (22 in 9).

In the battle of the keepers, current champion Anthony Ashton (-6.4) continues to lead Stu Barker (-7), whilst Danny Halford (-10.4) just edges Paul Godfrey (-10.8) for 3rd.
