Man of the Match: Brian Weir
An energetic start by both sides made for an entertaining game as Dads Army continued their rich vein of form to extend their lead at the top of the table. Dadston Villa struggled to find their feet in their first game of the season as Dads Army turned in a combative display to hold a 7-2 advantage at half time. Dadston started to gel after the break and pushed Dads Army all the way before James Earley discovered his shooting boots to make the 3 points safe.
Dads of the Match was Brian Weir was a stalwart at the back making several smart stops, and his distribution from the back helped build many of Dads Army's attacks. Brian currently leads the race for the Golden Glove by 0.7 despite having played at least a game more than any other keeper!
Chris Debbage (1) and James Earley (6) drew level in the golden boot in joint second whilst Darren Brigham took the overall lead in Monday's other fixture.
