Another exhilarating game saw Dad's Army extend their early lead to 5 points after a highly competitive game with Oldman Athletic. Dad's Army narrowly led 6-5 at half time before conceding early quick-fire goals from Oldman in the second half, but Dad's Army took control in the last 10 minutes to come from behind at 8-7 to end up 12-8 winners.
Another impressive display by Chris Debbage saw him plunder a further 5 goals to lead the Golden Boot with 8 in total, with Neil Townsend notching a further 2 himself to sit in second on 6. Adam Julian also impressed for Oldman Athletic grabbing 4 goals in his first appearance for his new side.
Brian Weir delivered a top performance to retain the lead in the Golden Glove at -9 after 2 games played. Despite Danny Halford's best efforts, and taking an absolute beating in goal, he joins Paul Godfrey and Anthony Ashton in joint second on -12.
Danny Halford was voted this weeks MOTM for his dedicated display, making a number of top saves and putting his body on the line on numerous occasions to keep his side in the game. Congratulations Danny!
